Speed Sensor / Sender

So as part of the wiring I need to fit an electronic speed sensor / sender unit rather than the original cable type to the Toyota T50 5 speed transmission. There are a few ways from what I understand from angle drives to other units. Whilst most would work the Clubman has a very limited transmission tunnel size, and as I understand most will fowl the rails. So after much searching of the internet I found some great write ups on modifying a Toyota Yaris type sensor to work with the standard T50 gears. Speedo drive mod write up A quick search on ebay for Toyota part number 83181-12040 which I hope is the right part number (time will tell) and bingo I had one shipped for about $20. The part was so cheap and brand new that I can afford to get it wrong, but on first inspection it looks the goods. Next step is to start the cutting!
