So I finally got the wheels on the car, and I love them. I dropped the wheels off at my local Tyrepower and they were more than happy to fit my bargain Toyo R1R tyres to the rims. The chap I dealt with was very friendly and surprised at the price I managed to pay. Essentially they were half price he was able to supply them at.
You can see here the wheels should just slide under the guards….now I am in 2 minds at cutting the gaurds off to widen them. I do want to as I think it adds an agressive stance to the back, but as I still have a fairway to go with the build. This might be something that is left to later before painting the body.
